A round table was held at the Rivne Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education with the participation of scientific and pedagogical workers from NUVHP and ROIPPO.
The main goal of the event was to discuss the implementation of educational innovations, the current state, and the prospects for development in the New Ukrainian School and NUVHP.
The university was represented by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical and Educational Work Valeriy Soroka. Valeriy Stepanovich emphasized that modern society is developing at an exceptionally fast pace, and education, as an integral part of this society, simply cannot be left behind. The implementation of innovations in the educational process allows meeting not only the current demands of the time, but also forming in learners the skills necessary for the future. Thanks to such innovations, a more flexible, adaptive, and effective educational environment is created, preparing youth for the real challenges and opportunities of the modern world.
The meeting continued with presentations and reports from representatives of ROIPPO and NUVHP, dedicated to innovations in the new Ukrainian school and university.
The state and prospects for the development of methodological work at NUVHP were presented by the Deputy Head of the Educational and Methodological Department Tamara Kostiukova. Tamara Andriivna emphasized that the concept of educational activity and development of NUVHP is based on the conceptual foundations of the Law of Ukraine 'On Higher Education' and 'The Strategy for the Development of Higher Education in Ukraine for 2022-2032', which defines the main priorities of the higher education system at the current stage of the society and economy's development, as well as the main characteristics that will be formed by 2032. As for the university's development strategy, it involves transforming the traditional university into an innovative type university, namely: the development of an innovative education system.
