International Veteran Competitions Strong Spirit’s Games 2025
From September 25 to 28, the international veterans' competition Strong Spirit’s Games 2025 is taking place in Madrid (Spain). This competition has gathered over 150 veteran participants from 5 countries: the United States of America, Ireland, Estonia, Spain, and Ukraine. One of the representatives from Ukraine was student Pavlo Korytyuk from the group FKS-11 at the Institute of Physical Education.
Athletes competed for prizes in the following disciplines:
- bench press 60/100 kg for repetitions in 1 minute;
- rowing on the Concept-2 machine (100m and 100 secs);
- burning 50 kcal on the air bike;
- snatch and jerk of kettlebells 16/24 kg for 1 minute;
- maximum bench press.
Pavlo Korytyuk won 4 gold medals in the following events:
• bench press 100 kg for repetitions;
• kettlebell press 24 kg for repetitions;
• air bike;
• maximum bench press.

achievements!
