Anti-Corruption Activities

At the National University of Water Management and Nature Resources Use (hereinafter - NUWMRU), according to the Law of Ukraine "On Preventing Corruption," the responsibilities for preparing, ensuring, and controlling the implementation of measures in the field of prevention and detection of corruption were assigned by order dated December 31, 2013, No. 580 tothe Department for Prevention and Detection of Corruption.

The anti-corruption policy of NUWMRU, the legal status of the Department for Prevention and Detection of Corruption, and the procedure for managing corruption risks are defined by the currentAnti-Corruption Program of the University, approved by the conference of the labor collective on January 27, 2022, and put into effect by order dated January 28, 2022, No. 70 (with changes according to the order dated January 22, 2024, No. 66).

The Department for Prevention and Detection of Corruption of NUWMRU collaborates with individuals who voluntarily report possible facts of corrupt or corruption-related offenses, and other violations of the Law of Ukraine "On Preventing Corruption."

Information about corruption facts involving officials, employees, and contractors of NUWMRU can be reported:

during working hours(Monday - Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM) directly to the Department for Prevention and Detection of Corruption at the address: 33028, Rivne, Chornovola St., building 55a, NUWMRU Dormitory No. 2, room No. 116; by phone: No. 0362-638190, ext. Reports of possible facts of corruption or related offenses, other violations of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption" will be considered if the information provided relates to a specific person(s) and contains factual data (circumstances of the offense, place, time of commission, etc.) that can be verified.

Individuals who report possible facts of corruption, or related offenses, other violations of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption", and have obtained the status of "whistleblower", are under the protection of the state.

At NUVHP, the person responsible for implementing the powers regardingwhistleblower protectionis appointed by the order dated 09.09.2020 No. 461, A.L. Zakharets, head of the department for prevention and detection of corruption.

Reports of possible facts of corruption or related offenses may, if desired or necessary, be made without indicating authorship (anonymously). At the same time, since electronic messages usinge-mailcannot ensure the full anonymity of the author, we recommend sending it to the address of the university administration (33028, Rivne, Soborna St., building 11) or the department for prevention and detection of corruption (33028, Rivne, Chornovola St., building 55a) by postal letter, using the services of postal operators.
