Training on Preventing and Detecting Corruption
According to the requirements of Section V of the Anti-Corruption Program of NUWGP, the university continues to implement the schedule for training and other activities aimed at disseminating anti-corruption information for the year 2025.
In particular, on September 25 of the current year, the head of the Anti-Corruption Prevention and Detection Department, Zaharets A.L., conducted seminars on the topic "The System of Prevention and Counteraction to Corruption in Higher Education Institutions" with students of 1-4 years in the specialty G21/162 "Biotechnology and Bioengineering" and first-year students of the specialty "Marketing."
The attendees were informed about the activities and powers of the Anti-Corruption Prevention and Detection Department, ways to communicate with its employees, channels for reporting violations of the university's Anti-Corruption Program, and corruption-related offenses, the legislative definition of the whistleblower's status, and the protection system for this category of applicants. Additionally, the methods for finding the relevant information on the university's official website were demonstrated visually.
A separate block of questions discussed with students included identified corruption risks at the university, the system of measures for their localization, methods for resolving both corruption-related and other types of conflicts, and the responsibility of all subjects involved in the educational process for violating anti-corruption legislation.
The seminar concluded traditionally in a "question-answer" format, during which students primarily inquired about the results and effectiveness of the university's anti-corruption activities. Their opinions, insights, and comments will be used in planning further actions to ensure the functioning of an effective system for preventing and combating corruption at NUWGP.
