On October 21, 2025, based at the National University of Water Management and Nature Resources (NUWMR), as part of the international project ISDEGO (Implementation of Sustainable Urban Development Goals in Transport Bachelor Degree), a significant international online seminar was held.
Key Highlights:
- Topic: "Microqualifications in Higher Technical Education: European Practice, National Challenges, and Pathways for Ukraine and Moldova. The Application of Microqualifications in Transport and Logistics."
- Organizer: The event was organized by the Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy named after O. M. Beketov, with the hosting side being the Department of Transport Technologies and Technical Service of NUWMR.
- Participants: The event brought together over 80 participants — representatives from universities of European Union countries (Poland, Italy, Romania, Germany), as well as from Ukraine and Moldova.
Discussion and Results
Seminar participants focused on relevant issues concerning the formation of future educational needs and skills in the context of global labor market trends in the fields of engineering, transport, and logistics.
Special attention was paid to:
1. Analyzing the European experience of implementing the microqualification system.
2. Opportunities for adapting these progressive approaches in the technical education of Ukraine and Moldova.
Participants actively discussed the key challenges and prospects for the development of the microqualification system. The importance of this system for modernizing educational programs aimed at preparing highly qualified specialists for the transport and logistics sector was emphasized.
This event marked an important step in international cooperation and experience exchange, contributing to the implementation of innovative educational standards.
