Internship of NNIAZ lecturers at the Slovak University of Agriculture

From February 25, an internship for the teaching team of the Institute of Aquatic Resources began at the Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra, which is part of the International Ukrainian-Armenian project to create master's programs in aquaculture and fishing ERASMUS+ AFISHE 'Development of education in the field of aquaculture and fishing in Armenia and Ukraine: from education to ecology.'

The prerequisites for the project's implementation included improving the capacity and sustainability of educational and research activities in the field of aquaculture and fishing, which requires selecting teaching staff with the appropriate skills and knowledge. It is expected that a capable teaching staff will take on the development of new educational programs and modular teaching materials, teaching the courses they developed for students majoring in Aquatic Bioresources. For this purpose, the participating universities exchange experiences in organizing the educational process, practical and scientific advancements.

The training program at the Slovak Agricultural University focuses on interactive teaching methods and student-centered approaches. The work of our teachers in working groups on specific areas of fish farming, particularly pond fish farming and fishing in natural water bodies, ecotoxicology, and research methodology, is actively and productively ongoing.
