As part of the development of cooperation between Ukrainian universitiesproject participants AFISHEfromthe National University of Water Management and Nature Resources (NUWMR) and Sumy National Agricultural University (SNAU) discussed the prospects of changes in educational programs for the training of bachelors and masters in the specialty "Water Bioresources and Aquaculture." In particular, on March 31, 2025, Associate Professor of the Department of Feed Technology and Animal Feeding of SNAU Oleksandr Mykhalko joined an open meeting as part of the accreditation examination of the educational-professional program 207 Water Bioresources and Aquaculture in the field of knowledge 20 Agricultural Sciences and Food at the educational-qualification level of "bachelor" at NUWMR. During the meeting, issues of compliance of the educational program with modern labor market requirements, the level of practical training of students, and the prospects for further development of the direction "Water Bioresources and Aquaculture" were discussed. In particular, participants focused on adapting curricula to European standards, engaging employers in the educational process, and strengthening inter-university cooperation to improve the quality of specialist training. The attendees at the meeting also expressed their arguments in support of the further functioning of the educational-professional program 207 Water Bioresources and Aquaculture.
On3 April 2025, a working meeting of project participants took place at NUWMR, dedicated to the implementation of work package 7 – the creation of a sustainable network of cooperation between partner universities withof Armenia, Ukraine, and the EU, the labor market in the aquaculture and fishing industry, ministries and departments, etc. Project executors from NUVHP discussed plans for strengthening cooperation and successfully completing all scheduled work this year.
