The AFISHE project was presented at an international conference.
On October 26-27, the sixth International Scientific and Practical Conference 'The Environmental Status of the Surrounding Environment and Rational Natural Resource Management in the Context of Sustainable Development' was held at the Kherson State Agrarian Economic University in memory of Professor Yu.V. Pylypenko.
Participants included representatives of the Network of Aquaculture Centers in Central and Eastern Europe (NACEE), the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, the Faculty of Fisheries and Water Protection in Vodňany, Czechia; the Gdańsk Water Foundation, the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies at the University of Alberta (Canada), the Research Institute 'AcvaGenResurs' (Republic of Moldova), the Budget Institution 'Methodological and Technological Center for Aquaculture', and the Institute of Agroecology and Natural Resource Management of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. Researchers from higher education institutions in Kyiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Rivne, and Zhytomyr participated in the Conference.
At the event, Director of the Institute of Aquaculture and Fisheries Alla Pryshchepa familiarized participants with the International Ukrainian-Armenian project to create master's programs in aquaculture and fisheries ERASMUS+ AFISHE 'Development of Education in the Field of Aquaculture and Fisheries in Armenia and Ukraine: from Education to Ecology'. She highlighted the new challenges for training specialists and emphasized the development of a new master's educational-professional program in the specialty 'Water Biological Resources' within the grant project.
