After the plenary sessions on the Erasmus+ project AFISHE "Development of Education in Aquaculture and Fisheries for the Green Course in Armenia and Ukraine: from Education to Ecology", on May 16, 2024, a meeting took place between the delegation of NUWGP and the rector of the University of Dubrovnik (UNIDU) to sign a Memorandum of Understanding.
The Memorandum signed by NUWGP rector Viktor Moshynskyi and UNIDU rector Nikša Burum will facilitate the establishment of direct and mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of higher education and science, particularly in the context of implementing collaboration between universities within the framework of the AFISHE project (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100088132460870).
The first step of this cooperation was the training conducted by colleagues from UNIDU for NUWGP faculty involved in updating the educational and methodological support for the master's educational program in the specialty 207 "Aquatic Biological Resources and Aquaculture". The training lasted two weeks – from February 26 to March 8, 2024 (https://nuwm.edu.ua/nni-az/news/pershyi-tyzhden-stazhuvannia-naukovtsiv-v-universyteti-dubrovnika-khorvatiia).
In the future, we expect to participate in joint research and educational projects on priority areas of both higher education institutions, particularly in the field of aquaculture and fisheries.
