PLATFORM FOR SYSTEMIC MODELLING OF INTEGRATIVE RESEARCH IN MEDIA LAW AND MEDIA SECURITY
The platform for systemic modelling of integrative research in media law and media security is an analytical tool aimed at studying, modelling, and predicting the interaction between media law and media security. It will function as a comprehensive system that combines methods of systemic analysis, social modelling, and more. Its main goal is to provide objective and scientifically grounded information for the development of effective media policy.
Main tasks of the platform.
1. Monitoring and analysis.The platform will collect data on the current state of media law and media security in Ukraine and the world. This includes analysis of legislation, judicial practice, as well as tracking information threats: fake news, propaganda, and manipulation.
2. Creation of integrative models. Mathematical and social models will be developed that simulate the relationship between legal norms (for example, laws on misinformation) and their impact on the information environment. This will allow predicting the consequences of adopting certain laws, assessing their effectiveness, and identifying potential risks to freedom of speech.
3. Simulation experiments.The platform will allow conducting virtual "experiments" by simulating various scenarios.
4. Production of recommendations.Based on the data obtained and the results of modelling, the platform will generate analytical reports and practical recommendations for government bodies, human rights organizations, journalistic communities, and researchers.
Who is this platform for.
- Government bodies for the development and improvement of media legislation;
-Media lawyers and human rights advocates for the analysis and forecasting of judicial practices in media-related cases;
-Journalists and media managers for understanding the risks and opportunities created by new laws and technologies;
-Academics for conducting interdisciplinary research.
MEDIA CENTER
The platform is a powerful tool for a systematic approach to media issues.
The Media Center for journalism students of the educational program 'Media Law and Media Security' is not just a classroom, but an innovative hub that combines classical journalistic practices with the latest requirements of legal and information security. Its main mission is to create a safe and professional environment where students can develop their skills by consciously applying the principles of media law, ethics, and information protection in practice.
This is an educational platform where journalism meets law and media security.
The main areas and resources of the media platform.
The Media Center is visually and functionally divided into several key areas, each corresponding to a specific training field:
-Area 'Newsroom'.
-Area 'Cyber Lab'.
-Area 'Legal Hub'.
-Area 'Multimedia Production'.
Practical value
The platform helps students not only to study theory but to apply it in practice in conditions that are as close to real life as possible. This helps them realize that security and legality are not obstacles, but an integral part of the modern profession of a journalist, especially in the context of information warfare.
