Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Humanities
General Information
The activities of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Humanitarian Sciences began in February 2013. At that time, a separate training direction 'Law' was established within the existing Educational and Scientific Institute of Economics and Management. To support this training direction, departments of theory and history of the state and law and specialized legal disciplines were created. The teachers of these departments specialized in both teaching legal disciplines and conducting relevant scientific research on domestic, foreign, and international legislation. As a result of the rapid development of the direction, active support from the student legal community, and the formation of a strong faculty of legal departments, on February 9, 2015, the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law of NUVGP was established. In 2025, due to the expansion of the institute's work directions, a reorganization took place, resulting in the institute being renamed the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Humanitarian Sciences.
Today, the institute is an independent and autonomous structural unit of the National University of Water Management and Nature Use with a unique internal structure, purpose, and mission. The Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Humanitarian Sciences consists of 5 independent departments: the Department of Law Enforcement and Special Legal Disciplines, the Department of Information Law and Legal Journalism, the Department of Constitutional Law and Specialized Disciplines, the Department of Legal Environmental Protection Disciplines, and the Department of Theology and Social-Humanitarian Disciplines. At the same time, the student body of the institute is constantly growing, and in 2025, it has over 600 students of various levels of higher education.
