Partnership with the Guspol Academy (Czech Republic)
Collaboration with the Guspol Academy allows the department's faculty to undergo international internships, exchange experiences with European colleagues, and implement advanced teaching methodologies. Additionally, partners regularly conduct joint events - conferences and round tables, fostering deeper scientific connections and the exchange of ideas. This ensures high qualification of the faculty and compliance of educational programs with international standards.

The Department of Applied Social Sciences at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland, actively develops international cooperation, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, experience, and scientific research. The department's scientists collaborate on joint research projects with colleagues from various countries, particularly in the fields of social sciences, management, and economics. Doctor of Philosophy Oleksandra Synovets conducts guest lectures for students in the educational program "Media Law and Media Security"

Participation in international projects
The department participates in important international projects that highlight its scientific potential and recognition at the European level.
EIS4REG project (ID: 101238697). The head of the department, Professor Olga Mitchuk, is the coordinator of the grant proposal for this project. It has been submitted to the EU funding program ERASMUS2027 under the Jean Monnet Actions program. The project's topic, "European Information Standards as a Basis for Regulatory Frameworks for Competence Development in Times of Global Crises," is extremely relevant.

The project "Journalism Education for Democracy in Ukraine": Olga Mitchuk also participated in the EU ERASMUS+ project (No. 598994-EPP-1-2018-1-UK-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP, 2018–2022), aimed at developing standards for journalism education in Ukraine. The program was coordinated by the University of Bath Spa (United Kingdom), which indicates a high level of collaboration.
This activity allows the department not only to gain experience but also to directly influence the formation of educational policy and scientific standards in the fields of journalism and media law at the European level.

Eric James Graham Putzig - volunteer from the USA, founder of the organization Build Ukraine Democracy, expert with over 25 years of experience in implementing U.S. government projects aimed at developing legal institutions in countries that have experienced or are still experiencing conflicts.
