Graduates
The department annually conducts Olympiads for students of the specialties 'Architecture of Buildings and Structures' and 'Design of Architectural Environment' in the discipline 'Architectural Design'; competitions for the best course project; regional exhibitions of creative works by student architects. The best diploma projects of graduates from the department have won in All-Ukrainian reviews-competitions of diploma projects from architectural schools (2005-2019). In total, during this period, diploma projects and master's theses received 41 first-degree diplomas, 28 second-degree diplomas, and 6 third-degree diplomas. An important event in the history of the department was the hosting of the XVII All-Ukrainian competition-review of diploma projects from architectural schools of Ukraine (2008) and the XXXVIII review-competition of diploma projects by graduates of architectural and artistic specialties of higher education institutions in Ukraine with international participation (2019).
Students studying at the department have become winners of all-Ukrainian and international architectural competitions and grant programs, including:
Iryna Omelchuk- 2nd place in the book trailer competition 2014 - Goethe-Institut, 2014; winner of the competition for the design of a jubilee envelope dedicated to the 100th anniversary of NUVHP, 2015;
Svitlana Martyniuk, Roman Kovalchuk- 3rd place in the National Architectural Student Competition STEEL FREEDOM (organized by the Ukrainian Center for Steel Construction) in the category 'Loft', 2014; 2nd place in the International Architectural Competition 'Child-friendly public space' (Ivano-Frankivsk), organizers - NGO 'Mamas of Prykarpattia', NGO 'Warm City', Department of Urban Development and Architecture of the Executive Committee of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, 2015; Grant from the European Assembly of Students of Architects EASA Ukraine for participation in an architectural workshop in Valetta, 2015;
Oksana Zadybchuk- winner of the scholarship program 'Polish Erasmus for Ukraine' for the 2014-2015 academic year (studying for two semesters at Gdansk University of Technology (Poland) in the field of 'Architecture');
Anastasia Khmara, Andriy Tsios- winners of the competition, authors of the logo and alternative brand of Rivne (2015);
Yuriy Trokhymchuk- 3rd place in the All-Ukrainian competition of student research works (Kharkiv National University of Construction and Architecture, Kharkiv, 2019).
