The department provides training for higher education seekers at all levels —bachelor, master, Doctor of Philosophyin the specialtyG17 «Architecture and Urban Planning»field of knowledgeG «Engineering, Production, and Construction».

The educational process combines fundamental theoretical preparation, practice-oriented design, mastery of modern digital technologies, research activities, and professional practices.

• The department prepares specialists capable of:
  comprehensively solving specialized tasks in architecture and urban planning;
  designing buildings, structures, and spatial complexes;
  working with complex architectural environments, historical territories, and landscape objects;
  applying modern digital technologies for modeling, visualization, analysis, and prototyping;
  conducting authorial and technical supervision, performing field assessments;
  carrying out research in the field of architectural and urban planning activities.
  
  The educational programs comply with the requirements of the European Higher Education Area and provide the opportunity for academic mobility (Erasmus+).

A wide range of disciplines in architecture, design, historical-theoretical, technological, and artistic directions is taught at the department.

All disciplines are fully equipped withworking programs, methodological recommendations, multimedia materials, electronic learning content, and professional software.

Training at levels of higher education

Bachelor of Architecture and Urban Planning

• Training goal:to form a specialist able to perform architectural and urban planning design, work with objects of various types, and apply modern methods of modeling and analysis.
  
  Core components of education:
  history of architecture, arts, and urban planning;
  architectural and volumetric-spatial design;
  architectural graphics and computer modeling;
  basics of surveying and measurement works;
  reconstruction and restoration;
  basics of urban planning and landscape architecture;
  interior and environmental design;
  legislation and organization of the design process.
  
  Practices:
  surveying and geodetic;
  artistic and familiarization;
  project.
  
  Certification:defense of the qualification bachelor’s work (public defense, check for academic integrity).

  architect, architectural designer;

  specialist in urban planning;
  expert in the field of utilities and construction organizations.
  
  

Master of Architecture and Urban Planning

• Goal:training of specialists at the research and innovation level, capable of creating complex design solutions, working in the fields of reconstruction, urbanism, public spaces, and historically formed environments.

  digital modeling and visualization;
  design of public spaces;
  design in historical environments;
  innovative materials and structures;

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Architecture and Urban Planning

• Training goal:to form a highly qualified researcher and academic teacher, capable of conducting original scientific research and solving complex scientific problems in the field.
