International Activities

The faculty of the department actively participates in international research projects and grant programs. Among the implemented initiatives:

• Within the framework of the Eastern Partnership program and with the support of the European Union, a project was carried out"The Architecture of Wooden Churches in Rivne Region: Past, Present, Future"(2016–2017).
  The international partner wasthe Association of Local Democracy Agencies ALDA (France), the Ukrainian partner wasthe Center for Cultural Management (Lviv).
  One of the outcomes was the publication of an illustrated catalog"The Architecture of Wooden Churches in Rivne Region"(2017; compilers P. A. Rychkov, O. L. Mykhailyshyn, O. E. Smolinska).

• In collaboration with the programReHeritand the EU initiative"Shared Responsibility for Shared Heritage"a project was implemented"Rivne Modernist: Interwar Architectural Heritage"(2020).
  Within the project, an architectural guide was created"Interwar Architecture of Rivne in Documents and Publications from 1921 to 1939"(compilers O. L. Mykhailyshyn, V. D. Luts).
  The conclusion was the organization ofan International Round Table"The Heritage of Interwar Modernism: Preservation and Utilization Issues" with the participation of researchers from Ukraine, Belarus, and Poland.
