Research Sector of Ukrainian Constitutionalism and Human Rights Protection
At the Department of Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies, and Robotics workResearch sector of Ukrainian constitutionalism and human rights protectionis a structural unit of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Humanities of the National University of Water Management and Nature Resources, involved in the training of specialists in legal professions, and is established as a basis for conducting research work by teaching staff and students of the Institute.
The Research sector of Ukrainian constitutionalism and human rights protection of the Institute operates onthe principles:
of respect for law, justice, human dignity;
aimed at the protection of human rights and freedoms;
humanism;
legality and the rule of law;
objectivity;
competence and good faith.
The goal ofthe Research sector of Ukrainian constitutionalism and human rights protection of the Institute is:
to carry out scientific, scientific and technical, and scientific organizational activities;
to promote the improvement of the quality of training for legal education seekers by ensuring a close link between scientific research and the educational process of the Institute of Law and Humanities;
improving the level of theoretical and practical knowledge, skills, and competencies of legal education seekers;
to provide additional opportunities for scientific research for scientific and pedagogical staff of the Institute of Law and Humanities;
training and educating legal education seekers in the spirit of adherence to and respect for the principles of the rule of law, justice, and human dignity;
facilitating access for citizens of Ukraine (in particular, representatives of socially vulnerable groups), foreigners, and stateless persons to legal assistance;
to expand cooperation of the Institute of Law and Humanities of the National University of Water Management and Nature Management with courts, law enforcement agencies, the justice system, government authorities, and local governments, as well as with other institutions and organizations.
Maintasksof the Research Sector of Ukrainian Constitutionalism and Human Rights Protection of the Institute of Higher Education Law at the University:
to carry out scientific, scientific and technical, and scientific organizational activities;
carrying out and testing the results of scientific research, creating competitive scientific developments;
publishing the results of scientific research (except in cases related to confidentiality conditions) at conferences, seminars, and in scientific publications, implementing the results of scientific research into public production and the educational process;
providing students with the opportunity to acquire skills in scientific activities related to their field;
conducting practical classes on academic disciplines assigned to the Institute of Higher Education Law at the University according to the current curricula;
organizing scientific work for students and research and teaching staff of the Institute of Higher Education Law at the University in collaboration with judicial, law enforcement authorities, justice agencies, state and local government, and other institutions and organizations;
holding events for public legal education, in particular, regarding the promotion of modern information technologies in the field of law and legal services;
facilitating access for citizens of Ukraine (in particular, representatives of socially vulnerable groups), foreigners, and stateless persons to legal assistance within the framework of current legislation;
creating an effective mechanism for information exchange between the population, the mass media, and the State Tax Service of Ukraine and the National Institute of Public Governance, which will enable prompt response to the legal needs of individual citizens and society as a whole.
