On May 15, 2026, an open defense of course projects on the subject of 'Land Management Design' took place for third-year students in the specialty 'Geodesy and Land Management.'
Throughout the semester, students worked on land management projects that provide ecological and economic justification for crop rotation and land regulation. They learned to analyze the current state of land resource use, determine ways for their rational and environmentally safe use. Special attention was paid to identifying problems of land degradation, disruption of land structure, non-compliance with scientifically grounded crop rotations, and finding effective measures for their resolution.
The project has a pronounced interdisciplinary nature, as it combines knowledge from land management, agronomy, ecology, and cadastral studies. During the tasks, students analyzed the structure of land assets, designed crop rotations, developed measures for land protection, and formulated proposals for optimizing land use.
All works were completed using modern digital mapping technologies and specialized geo-information and land management software. Students demonstrated an adequate level of theoretical training, the ability to work with spatial data, and practical skills in developing land management documentation.
