On April 29, 2026, academic and pedagogical staff of the NNIAS participated in an educational event on the topic of 'Anti-Corruption and Integrity', which took place at the National University of Water Management and Nature Management.
The event was organized as part of collaboration with the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, with the support of the Department of Education and Science of the Rivne Regional State Administration.
The speaker of the event was NAPC representative Inna Savytska, who presented key approaches to forming an anti-corruption culture in the educational environment. During her speech, emphasis was placed on the role of higher education institutions in instilling principles of integrity, developing responsible civic thinking, and preventing corruption risks in the professional activities of future specialists.
The event was held in an interactive lecture format with a presentation, lively discussion, and a Q&A session, which allowed participants not only to gain theoretical knowledge but also to discuss practical cases and current challenges in the field of preventing corruption.
Organizational support was provided by the Department for the Prevention and Detection of Corruption at NUWGP, led by Zakarets A. L.
Conducting similar events is an important element in forming a culture of academic integrity, increasing the legal awareness of students and faculty, as well as strengthening the institutional capacity of the university in implementing anti-corruption practices. The event generated significant interest among participants and confirmed the relevance of systematic work in this area.
