Scientific and pedagogical staff of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Agroecology and Land Management are actively involved in the implementation of international grant projects, expanding scientific cooperation, and presenting the results of their work at national and international levels. Participation in such initiatives contributes to the development of modern research, the exchange of experiences with the scientific community, and the implementation of innovative approaches in the field of sustainable development and environmental protection.
One example of such activity is the participation of representatives of the Institute in the implementation of the international projectWaterWise Hub (WWH), aimed at developing innovative solutions in the field of water resource management, supporting the principles of circular economy, and strengthening the interaction between science, government authorities, business, and the public.
Within the framework of the scientific conference 'Agrosphere. Biodiversity. Ecology' on May 20-21, 2026, Professor of the Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection Technology, and Forestry Olga Bedunkova presented to colleagues the main directions of the WaterWise Hub project, key results of the consortium's work, and prospects for the development of international cooperation in the field of environmental safety, sustainable use of water resources, and support for environmentally-oriented innovations.
Particular attention during the discussions was paid to issues of developing a circular economy, modern approaches to water resource management, strengthening the research and innovation component in the field of ecology, as well as opportunities for using international experience to support sustainable development and post-war recovery of Ukraine.
