Discussed the draft Regulations on the internal quality assurance system of higher education at NUWGP.
The guarantors of educational programs and heads of departments of the Institute of Water Management and Natural Resource Use participated in an event with the head of the Department of Education Quality of NUVHP, Viktor Korbtyak, during which the draft Regulations on the internal quality assurance system of higher education at the National University of Water Management and Nature Resources was discussed in detail. Special attention was paid to the review of the 'Checklist of Responsibilities of the Head of the Department regarding the procedures for ensuring the quality of educational programs', particularly points 6.1–6.11, which cover the development, monitoring, and periodic review of educational programs, assessment of higher education applicants, annual evaluation of academic staff, ensuring their qualification improvement, resource and information support of the educational process, adherence to academic integrity, student-centered approach, internationalization of educational programs, and ensuring barrier-free educational environment.
Section 7 was also reviewed regarding the analysis of comments and recommendations from expert groups and sectoral expert councils of the NAZIA concerning the results of the accreditation of educational programs, section 8, dedicated to the system of corrective actions within the internal quality assurance system of NUVHP, as well as section 9, which defines the mechanisms for control, monitoring, and review of the internal quality assurance system.
The structure of the annexes to the Regulations was analyzed separately, including indicators and quality metrics of educational programs, the distribution map of responsibilities, as well as responsibility checklists for all key participants in the educational process - from academic staff and guarantors of educational programs to administrative units, student self-governance, and external stakeholders.
