NUWGP and Univalle (Bolivia), student participation in the COIL project.
Students of the National Institute of Environmental and Natural Resource Management (NNIAZ) actively participated in an international educational event, which once again proved that even different hemispheres and thousands of kilometers are not an obstacle for uniting young people around global sustainable development goals.
Students of the National University of Water Management and Nature Management (NUWEMP) together with colleagues fromUniversidad Privada del Valle (Univalle, Bolivia)successfully finalized an international educational project in the format ofCOIL (Collaborative Online International Learning).
The project was implemented based on the Cooperation Agreement with the University of Valle (Bolivia) dated 23.03.2026 No. 16/40/26/305, which became a solid foundation for developing long-term international partnerships between institutions.
During March-April 2026, participants worked on the theme"Sustainable Development Goals: Intercultural Exchange".
Overall, the initiative brought together 72 participants:
- 36 students from NUWEMP (Ukraine), among whom were representatives of NNIAZ, who demonstrated a high level of preparation, responsibility, and ability for international teamwork;
- 36 students from Universidad Privada del Valle (Bolivia).
As a result, 6 international teams were formed, which over seven weeks progressed from getting to know each other to developing and defending real sustainable development strategies.
Within the project, students worked with digital toolsLabster, conducting virtual laboratory research, and also participated in the final stageEco-Million Challenge, where they developed projects for investing a virtual million dollars in environmental conservation initiatives over the course of a week.
