From March 23 to 27, 2026, representatives of our university participated in the third working meeting of the international project DIGISKILLS ('Strengthening Digital Skills in the Water Sector Higher Education'), which took place in the cities of Galați and Sinaia (Romania). The event brought together representatives from partner universities in Ukraine, Moldova, Serbia, Romania, and Norway to discuss the results of the project implementation and plan the next stages of its execution.
One of the key issues of the meeting was the discussion of progress in the main areas of project implementation. Partners analyzed the results of completed tasks within the work packages and coordinated further actions regarding the creation of new educational modules.In particular, 25 existing courses are currently being updated, 3 new courses in water education are being developed, and 12 short training modules for webinars are being created.
Following the project meeting, a series of workshops was held, including:
WS 1: 'Digital Tools in Education: Enhancing the Learning Experience';
WS 2: 'Digital Tools in Research and Administration: Smart Use of Tools and Practices';
WS 3: 'Digital Tools in Water Resource Management: Smart Monitoring and Control'.
Participants in the seminars learned about the practices of using digital platforms for organizing the educational process, tools for collaborative work, and modern approaches to information analysis. During interactive sessions, GroupMap software was used. The interactive format of the classes facilitated active idea exchange and the development of joint solutions for the further advancement of the project.
The knowledge and practical skills gained during the series of workshops will be used to improve educational programs, develop digital infrastructure, and enhance the quality of training for learners.
