Meeting on the effective functioning and development of protected natural areas
The Director of the Institute of Agroecology and Land Management, Alla Prishchepa, participated in a meeting on the effective functioning and development of protected areas in Rivne region chaired byHead of Rivne Regional State Administration Oleksandr KovalThe meeting took place with the support ofRivne Regional State AdministrationIand with the participation of members of parliament Yulia Ovchinnikova and Oleksandr Koval. Ithas become an effective communication platform that brings together lawmakers, representatives of regional authorities, researchers, representatives of the regional nature reserve fund, forestry, and the public. During the discussion, the current state of the regional nature reserve fund, existing challenges, and prospects for its expansion were analyzed. In particular, the conversation focused on the Rivne Nature Reserve, national and regional nature parks, as well as promising projects such as "Rivne Marshes" and the "Falcon Mountains" park. A strategic task remains the preservation and expansion of the nature reserve fund, taking into account ecological and economic interests.
