General Information

The Department of Law Enforcement and Special Legal Disciplines is the successor to the Department of Special Legal Disciplines, which was established in February 2013 and renamed in June 2023. The first head of the department was Professor Valeriy Tsymbaliuk, and since February 2015, the department has been headed by Doctor of Law, Professor Volodymyr Kafarsky, with the current acting head being Victoria Gryshko.

The department employs 18 people, including: Candidate of Law, Professor V.I. Tsymbaliuk; candidates of sciences and/or associate professors: V.I. Gryshko, I.V. Slobodenuk, K.S. Rohozinnykova, Yu.V. Shcherbyak, V.L. Prystupluk; practitioners: P.D. Denysiuk, O.I. Polyukhovych, Ya.V. Yakovchuk, P.P. Davidiuk, D.A. Pukha, H.P. Halasha, and others. The department's faculty members, who provide instruction in fundamental legal disciplines, are practitioners with many years of experience in the legal and law enforcement fields.
