The Department of Law Enforcement and Special Legal Disciplines consistently implements the strategy of internationalization adopted by the National University of Water Management and Nature Management and actively expands its international cooperation. An important component of this work is the involvement of foreign specialists in the educational process. Our teachers systematically organize guest lectures and training sessions conducted by leading scientists from neighboring countries.
In particular, Professor Frank Lainie, a well-known specialist in the field of alternative dispute resolution, was invited to teach mediation courses. Professor Andriy Bishtyga from Zelenogorsk University, whose research interests cover current issues of European administrative law, also participated in the educational courses of the administrative law cycle. The department also has experience collaborating with Professor Aldona Domańska from Lodz University, who conducted lectures and discussion sessions for higher education students.
The participation of foreign lecturers contributes to improving the quality of the educational process, integrating international experience, and forming a global academic worldview among students. Under their scientific and methodological guidance, teachers and students of the department actively participate in international conferences and forums held both in Ukraine and abroad. Numerous certificates, published abstracts, and involvement in international sections and discussions attest to this.
A separate direction of internationalization is the professional development of academic staff. The department's teachers systematically engage in various qualification enhancement events, online courses, international training sessions, internships, seminars, and webinars, which allows them to implement modern teaching methodologies, update course content, and enhance their own scientific competence.
