Graduates

Since 1996, more than 2100 graduates have received vocational education in the specialties of the department. Graduates of the department are in high demand in enterprises, institutions, and organizations both in the region and beyond, they have competitiveness in both the domestic labor market and in other countries around the world.

In its activities concerning the employment of graduates, the Department of Ecology, TZN and LG is guided by regulatory legal documents: the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated January 23, 1996 No. 77 'On Measures for Reforming the System of Specialist Preparation and Employment of Graduates of Higher Educational Institutions,' the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dated July 16, 1997 'On Ensuring Youth Employment, in Particular for School, University and Other Educational Institution Graduates,' the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated August 22, 1996 No. 992 'On the Procedure for Employing Graduates of Higher Educational Institutions Prepared Under State Order,' and orders from the university rector. The department actively collaborates withthe Department of Professional and Career Development of Students of the Student Development Center of NUVHP.

The department maintains close ties with potential employers. The defenses of final qualification works take place in the presence of leaders of leading environmental organizations, industrial enterprises, and higher education institutions in the region and Ukraine. This opens up wide opportunities for graduates to choose their future place of work according to their interests.

During their production and pre-graduation internships, students also have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with working conditions, specialists, and to be invited to work in a certain organization.

Graduates who have received diplomas in the specialties 101 Ecology, 183 Technologies for Environmental Protection, and 205 Forestry are prepared for research, technical, research, project, organizational and managerial, forecasting, and commercial activities in the field of environmental protection, balanced use of natural resources, protection of environmental objects, and sustainable development.
