Software Quality Testing through the Lens of Practical Work

     3On March 1, 2026, a guest lecture on the subject "Quality, Requirements Analysis, and Software Testing" for students of the Educational Program "Digital Technologies in Distance Education" was held with the participation of a practical expert. The topic of the session was "Testing Processes and Defect Finding," which is highly relevant in the IT world and could be a potential option for future employment.

     The invited specialist this time was Ihor Tkhoruk, an individual entrepreneur, co-owner of a technology and accessories store, and head of the digital solutions department. The session was structured in the following way. I presented to those present one ofCRMthe system used in the enterprise. He explained the principles of teamwork in software product testing. The most interesting part of the session was the examination of real cases. Students saw the sequence of steps involved in testing, as well as the requirements for current and report documentation for testing.

     The students have realized the connection between the theory taught in the course and real business processes. They have acknowledged the importance of mastering theoretical knowledge. They have expanded their understanding of the profession of an "IT specialist."
