The first stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad of NUVHP in the specialty "Cybersecurity and Information Protection"

🛡 The NUVHP successfully hosted an olympiad in the discipline of 'Cybersecurity and Information Protection'! Our students had the opportunity to test their skills in conditions closely resembling real challenges of the digital world. Three and a half hours of vulnerability searching, system auditing, and building a reliable IT infrastructure defense! 💻🔒

Participants solved complex practical cases focused exclusively on security in Linux and Windows environments. Among the main challenges were:
🔹 Password policy resilience analysis, checking cryptographic hashes, and data security in browsers.
🔹 Remote access security audit (RDP, SSH) and detection of unauthorized connections.
🔹 Testing the reliability of antivirus systems (including Windows Defender).
🔹 Searching for vulnerabilities in office documents and countering social engineering.
🔹 Assessing the security of operating systems.

📊 Some statistics:
In a fierce intellectual battle, 17 of the most motivated students participated. We especially take pride in noting that two participants demonstrated absolute top-level and successfully solved ALL the tasks set! 🏆👏
