Horizon Europe
Horizon Europe is the key EU program for funding research and innovation. The estimated funding volume for the Horizon Europe program for the period 2021–2027 is €93.5 billion.
The program aims to combat climate change, contributes to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and enhances the competitiveness and economic growth of the EU.
The program promotes collaboration and strengthens the impact of research and innovation on the development, support, and implementation of EU policy while addressing global challenges. It supports the creation and dissemination of cutting-edge knowledge and technologies.
The program creates jobs, fully engages the human resources potential of the EU, stimulates economic growth, promotes industrial competitiveness, and optimizes the impact of investments within a strengthened European Research Area.
