WATERWISE HUB is a dynamic initiative aimed at stimulating research and innovation (R&I), business development, and knowledge sharing in the field of circular economy (CE) in the water sector.
This project aims to transform water resource management in Romania, Greece, and specific countries in the Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership (Moldova, Serbia, Albania, Montenegro, and Ukraine). It focuses on sustainable and regenerative practices in water resources that align with EU policies and RIS3 strategies, using the Quadruple Helix innovation model.
WATERWISE HUB envisions a future where water resource management is sustainable and recovery-oriented.
Its goal is to make the water sector a key player in the circular economy by reducing waste and optimizing resource use.
By implementing advanced technologies and engaging communities, the HUB aims to foster a culture of rational water use and sustainable urban development.
