On February 26, 2026, as part of familiarizing students of the specialty 'Agroengineering' with modern agricultural production technologies, a lecture was held on the topic 'Implementation of Agricultural Machinery in the Ukrainian Agribusiness Company Continental Farmers Group.' The event aimed to deepen the practical knowledge of students regarding the use of modern equipment in large-scale agricultural production.
The lecture was delivered by the head of the engineering service of the company Continental Farmers Group, Serhiy Muzyka, who shared practical experience in organizing the technical support of one of the largest agricultural enterprises in Ukraine. During his presentation, he talked about the structure of the machinery and tractor fleet of the company, the peculiarities of operating modern agricultural machinery, and approaches to effective management of technical resources. The lecture discussed the use of high-performance tractors, grain harvesting combines, seeding complexes, and tillage aggregates that ensure the completion of technological operations within tight agro-technical deadlines. Special attention was given to the application of precision farming systems, which integrate with modern agricultural machines and allow for the optimization of soil cultivation, seeding, fertilization, and plant protection processes. The issues of maintenance, diagnostics, and monitoring of machine operation were also highlighted, playing a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of equipment during fieldwork. Serhiy Muzyka emphasized the importance of high qualification of engineering and technical personnel and the necessity of continuous improvement of the professional competencies of specialists in the agricultural sector. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss practical aspects of operating modern equipment in large agricultural companies. Such events promote the integration of theoretical knowledge with real production experience and help future agroengineers better understand the current trends in the development of Ukraine's agribusiness complex. Conducting such lectures is an important component of the educational process and contributes to strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions and leading agricultural enterprises in the country.
The Department of Agroengineering at NUWGP expresses gratitude to the Ukrainian agribusiness company 'Continental Farmers Group' for supporting educational initiatives and contributing to the preparation of highly qualified agroengineers.
