On September 19, 2025, Associate Professor of Agroengineering Oleg Bundza, along with students majoring in 'Agroengineering,' attended the 'Practical Field Day at HORSCH Ukraine,' which took place at the territory of the company 'HORSCH Ukraine' in Kyiv region. The event was attended by students from many agricultural universities in Ukraine.
The event began with an informative and engaging presentation by Philip Horsch, who personally visited Ukraine during this challenging time. Specifically for future agrarians, specialists from 'HORSCH Ukraine' showcased the latest innovations: agricultural machinery HORSCH for soil cultivation, seeding complexes for various sowing technologies, sprayers, as well as equipment for fertilizer application. Most of the machinery was presented on-site, while the Leeb VL and Leeb AX sprayers were demonstrated in the field: future agrarians observed their operation from comfortable mobile platform trailers. The presentation of the pneumatic fertilizer spreader Leeb Xeric 14 FS was particularly intriguing.
After the presentations, at the end of the day, all participants enjoyed a delicious dinner organized with traditional German hospitality.
And to conclude, guests from NUVHP spoke with the General Director of 'HORSCH Ukraine' Johannes Kluth and the owner of the corporation Philip Horsch. The Department of Agroengineering expresses gratitude to the management of 'HORSCH Ukraine' for the invitation and warm hospitality, to the director of 'POLISSYA GARANT' Oleg Livinsky and to the director of 'AGROALTERNATIVE' Roman Melnyk for their assistance in organizing the trip.
