Participation of the Department of Transportation Technologies and Technical Service of NUVHP in the seminar "Micro-qualifications in Higher Technical Education: European Practice, National Challenges, and Paths for Ukraine and Moldova"
October 21, 2025, in within the framework of the international project ISDEGO (Implementation of Sustainable Urban Development Goals in Transport Bachelor Degree), which is being implemented at the Department of Transport Technologies and Technical Service of NUWGP, An international seminar titled "Micro-credentials in Higher Technical Education: European Practice, National Challenges, and Pathways for Ukraine and Moldova. Application of Micro-credentials in Transport and Logistics" was held in an online format.
The event was organized by the Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy named after O. M. Beketov. The topic of discussion was "Application of Microqualifications in Transport and Logistics." Representatives from universities in European Union countries — Poland, Italy, Romania, Germany, as well as Ukraine and Moldova — participated in the seminar. The event brought together over 80 participants.
During the event, current issues regarding the formation of future educational needs and skills in the context of global labor market trends in the fields of engineering, transportation, and logistics were discussed. Special attention was given to analyzing European experience in implementing micro-qualifications and the possibilities of adapting these approaches in technical education in Ukraine and Moldova.
Participants identified key challenges and opportunities for the development of the micro-credential system, emphasizing its importance for modernizing educational programs for training specialists in the transport and logistics sector.
