Conducting a practical class on restoring the paint coating of a car
As part of the educational process, on April 29, 2026, a practical class was held for students majoring in J8 'Automobile Transport' dedicated to modern technologies for restoring the paintwork of car bodies, color matching, as well as methods of body repair and polishing.
During the class, students became familiar with the main stages of body repair, starting from diagnosing damage and preparing the surface to applying the paintwork and finishing. Special attention was paid to methods of restoring the geometry of the body, particularly bodyworking on a jig and using a spotter to eliminate local deformations.
Students had the opportunity to practice skills in color matching, taking into account the car's color code and lighting conditions, as well as performing surface polishing to achieve the required level of gloss and quality of the coating.
During the class, modern equipment and tools used in the field of body repair were demonstrated, and the requirements for the quality of work and adherence to safety techniques were discussed.
Conducting such practical classes helps reinforce students' theoretical knowledge, develop professional competencies, and prepare future specialists for work in the field of vehicle maintenance and repair.
