On February 4, 2026, first-year students of the specialty "Transport Technologies (in Automotive Transport)" will undergo an introductory practice under the guidance of senior lecturers from the Department of Transport Technologies and Technical Service, Victoria Doroshchuk and Yevhen Slipeiko. took place at the Rivne railway station, whose main tasks include organizing both freight and passenger transportation by rail.
Students were introduced to the material base of the Rivne railway station, the management structure, and the specifics of planning all cargo transportation by rail within Ukraine and in international connections.
The station manager, Maria Petrovna, provided students with detailed information on the principles of organizing and managing train movement, the technological processes of station operation (passenger, freight, sorting), the main characteristics and working principles of railway transport technical devices, automated control systems, management methods, transport services, and logistics under martial law conditions.
Leading specialists of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" talked about the introduction of an intermodal service that combines the transportation of container trains, trailer trains, and combined transport trains, the technology for planning the transfer of freight trains at railway border crossings, and the functions of employees from various departments. stations and methods of their motivation.
Applicants received invitations for further practical training at the railway station with the prospect of employment.
