During the lecture, practical experiences from Hungary and Romania regarding the development of cycling infrastructure, integration of cycling transportation into urban transport systems, improving road safety, and implementing effective sustainable mobility tools were presented.
The lecture was held in an online format on the Zoom platform and was accompanied by simultaneous translation into Ukrainian with the support of Egis, which ensured material accessibility for a wide audience.
The event was organized by the Department of Transportation Systems and Road Safety of the National Transport University, U-Cycle (Public Organization 'Bicycle Association of Kyiv'), Bike City Consulting, and Egis in Ukraine.
The event took place as part of the implementation of the educational course 'Planning and Organizing Cycling Mobility', developed in 2025 in partnership with the National Transport University, U-Cycle, and the project team of Bike City Consulting.
Participants of the event noted the high practical level of the lecture and its relevance to the current conditions of transportation system development in Ukraine.
