The rehabilitation center of the Department of Therapy and Rehabilitation provides a comprehensive range of rehabilitation, psychological, educational, professional, and socio-legal measures aimed at restoring autonomy, work capacity, and health of individuals with limited physical abilities resulting from acquired or congenital diseases, as well as from injuries under group and individual rehabilitation programs for patients who have medical indications and require special conditions to receive a set of rehabilitation measures.
Objectives of the rehabilitation center:
Providing qualified rehabilitation assistance to patients with various diseases and children with special needs, servicemen, internally displaced persons and their families affected by military actions:
Implementation of the main tasks defined by the Laws of Ukraine 'On the Basics of Social Protection of Disabled Persons in Ukraine', 'On the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons in Ukraine', 'On Social Services' regarding ensuring the right to rehabilitation for their further integration into society.
Creating conditions for the comprehensive development and acquisition of knowledge, skills, and abilities by children with special needs to prepare them for obtaining preschool education, followed by obtaining basic and complete general secondary education, vocational and higher education;
Preparing parents of children with special needs for the continuation of the rehabilitation process with children with special needs beyond the rehabilitation center;
Providing rehabilitation services according to individual rehabilitation programs and involving parents and/or legal representatives in this process.
Development and implementation of individual and group health and rehabilitation programs that involve a comprehensive application of non-medication methods aimed at enhancing human health's functional reserves, restoring optimal work capacity, and in the presence of diseases – promoting quicker recovery, preventing disease relapses and restoring work capacity.
Providing advisory and informational assistance to students with disabilities on various educational and daily living issues, providing socio-psychological, advisory, and corrective assistance to children with somatic, sensory, and physical disorders, their parents, and family members.
Development and implementation of therapeutic massage courses for students and other categories of people.
