On August 25, 2000, a new department of labor resources and entrepreneurship was established at the then Rivne State Technical University (now NUVHP).
The idea arose back in 1999 when the university started training specialists in the specialty of 'Labor Resource Management'. It became clear: a department was needed to ensure the quality, systematic approach, and development of this area.
Thus, a new team was born. The first head was Professor Vitaliy Yakovych Humeniuk, a recognized specialist in the field of management, whose initiatives are still carried on by many of his students today.
This was the start of a great endeavor, and today the department specialists train professionals in HR and business administration who work in business, government structures, HR departments, and start their own enterprises.
The department continues to develop, implementing modern approaches in education and maintaining close ties with practice.
The department confidently maintains leading positions in the publication activity rankings of NUVHP. The head of the department, Professor Halyna Mishyuk, is a leader among the university's scholars in the Scopus database by the h-index.
Thanks to the initiative of the department's team, a number of important international partnerships have been established. In particular, NUVHP became an official partner of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) and is the only higher education institution in Ukraine to join the IIBA academic program!
Another important step was the signing of memorandums of cooperation with YouControl and Vkursi.
The department's lecturers continually enhance their qualifications, collaborating not only with academic communities in Ukraine but also with leading employers such as SoftServe, Genesis, and Imperiya HR, among others. Our colleagues have significant international experience.
We are confidently growing and improving to provide our students with relevant knowledge, practical skills, and the latest competencies!
