The department's teachers are actively engaged in research, focusing on relevant socio-economic issues in Ukraine. The department's team participates in both fundamental and applied research funded from various sources, implements scientific projects commissioned by businesses, and carries out departmental scientific topics.
Scientific projects funded by the state budget:
· 2023-2025:project "Ensuring social protection for ATO/JFO participants and the societal integration of IDPs in the context of increasing threats to social security" (state registration number 0123U102841). This project won the National Research Foundation of Ukraine's competition "Science for the Security and Sustainable Development of Ukraine."

The department actively attracts funds from the special fund for the fulfillment of economic contracts with Ukrainian and foreign customers. Thus, at the order of PrJSC "Dickerhoff Cement Ukraine" in 2023-2024, the department's team carried out research work on the topic "Crisis Management of Enterprises in the Conditions of Systemic Challenges" with a funding volume of 510 thousand UAH.
The results of the research conducted by the faculty are reflected in numerous scientific publications, monographs, and are also actively implemented in the educational process during the training of specialists.
