International Activities

The international cooperation of the Department of Water Engineering and Water Technologies at NNIЕAВГ is actively developing. In the 2024-2025 academic year, the department's lecturers, including Associate Professor, PhD in Engineering, Prykhodko N.V., successfully completed three research internships at higher education institutions in the EU, which contributed to improving qualifications and exchanging experiences.

Main areas of international activity

1. Internship at the University of Debrecen (Hungary)

• Topic:"Precision agriculture and sustainable water use."

• Period:June 24-30, 2024.

• Result:A certificate of successful completion of 40 hours of training at the Faculty of Agriculture, Food Science, and Environmental Management has been received. This cooperation allowed for deepening knowledge about modern technologies that are vital for the rational use of water resources in the agricultural sector, which directly relates to your area of interest.

2. Internship at Mendel University in Brno (Czech Republic)

• Topic:"Hydrology and water retention in the landscape."

• Period:August 26 - September 1, 2024.

• Result:Completed 40 hours of training at the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology. This experience is particularly valuable for our work in water management and resource conservation, as it focuses on natural methods of managing water flows, which is key for sustainable development.

3. Internship at the Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra (Slovakia)

• Topic:"Water in the city - water retention, wastewater treatment, and their reuse."

• Period:October 21-27, 2024.

• Result:A certificate of 40 hours of training at the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering has been received. This internship provided an opportunity to study advanced methods of urban water supply and drainage, which is critically important for our community as it promotes the rational use of water within cities.
