Services
The educational laboratory of the Department of Bridges, Tunnels, and Construction Mechanics of the National University of Water Management and Nature Resources is certified, with equipment calibrated by specialists from the Metrology and Standardization Center. It conducts experimental studies of materials, structures, and their components on a contractual basis with third-party legal or natural persons based on and in accordance with current State Standards of Ukraine and other regulatory documents. The possibility of performing such work on the basis of individual economic contracts is not excluded.
The testing machines of the department's laboratory with the corresponding devices and equipment allow for the execution of such experimental works:
- metal fatigue tests;
- determination of impact toughness of metals at normal temperatures;
- tensile and compressive tests of various materials, products made from them, ropes, etc.;
- tensile tests of reinforcing steel, etc.;
- torsion tests of various materials;
- research on mechanical characteristics of various materials;
- testing of construction materials, textile materials, plastics, composites etc.
In addition to experimental work, a wide spectrum of other research related to calculations in the computer laboratory of load-bearing discrete (beam) and continuous (plates, shells) structures, which are subject to various thermodynamic loads, can also be conducted. The material of such structures can be isotropic or anisotropic.
