This research laboratory was established in 2020. The head is Mychuta Olga Romanivna, PhD, associate professor, associate professor of the Department of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, Institute of Information Technology.
The scientific directions of the laboratory are:
·conducting fundamental, exploratory, and applied research in the field of modeling physicochemical and biological processes in heterogeneous porous media;
·eeconomic-mathematical modeling and forecasting: optimization tasks for production, risk management, marketing and customer analysis, etc.;
·development of new and improvement of existing methods for solving boundary value problems of mathematical physics, including numerical ones
·optimization of the transportation system and logistics;
·predictive analytics of the environmental condition and the spread of pollutants;
·modeling and forecasting in civil and industrial construction tasks;
·assessment of the stability of the ground bases of industrial, hydraulic engineering, and civil structures;
·predictive analytics on large datasets, creation and research of relevant information systems.
The main areas of activity of the laboratory are:
· conducting consultations on scientific research in the presented areas;
· organization and holding of various scientific events: seminars, conferences, etc.;
· providing assistance to both enterprises and individual persons regarding predictive analytics within the declared areas;
· development of computer programs as a result of computermodeling of various tasks;
· marketing implementation, implementation of innovative activities, promoting the trainingof students,students, graduate students, and doctoral candidates, addressing pressing scientific and scientific-technical problems of the economy, cooperation with enterprises, higher education institutions, organizations, companies, including foreign ones.
