The Department of Transport Technologies and Technical Service of the National University of Water Management and Nature Resources has completed the competitive selection of participants for academic mobility within the international projectISDEGO (Implementation of Sustainable Urban DevElopment Goals in Transport Bachelor Degree), implemented under the programErasmus+.
The ISDEGO Project aims at integrating the principlesof the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 11 — sustainable cities and communities)into the training of specialists in the transport sector at the bachelor's level. The implementation of the project envisages the improvement of educational programs, the exchange of best European practices, and the enhancement of the quality of transport education.
According to the results of the competitive selection, which lasted untilMarch 15, 2025, representatives of the teaching staff who gained the right to participate in international internships at higher education institutions in the partner countries of the European Union were identified.
Participation in academic mobility provides the opportunity to:
exchange experience with European universities;
familiarize with modern approaches to sustainable transport development;
implement the obtained results in the educational process;
modernization of educational programs in accordance with the current challenges of the transport industry.
The implementation of the ISDEGO project will contribute to enhancing the university's international cooperation and the development of transport education in accordance with European standards of sustainable development.
