International Student Mobility at the University of Szczecin Maritime (Poland)

From May 18 to 29, 2026, students participated in a mobility program inMaritime University of Szczecin(Szczecin, Poland). The program included a combination of lectures, lab sessions, individual consultations, and study visits to leading transport and logistics companies.
In the first days of the mobility program, students got acquainted with the university, visited the laboratories, and attended introductory lectures by Professor Stanislav Ivan. The following activities includeda study visit to DB Port Szczecin, where participants had the opportunity to see the operation of a modern port complex and discuss the prospects for maritime logistics.
Particular interest was generated by lectures and practical sessions on the use ofdrones for analyzing transport systems, as well as data research fromthe Sierzega SR4 radar.Students worked with a 3D simulation environment, studied the environmental impact of urban transport, and participated in group projects.
The program also includedindividual consultations with university instructors., which allowed participants to receive personal advice on research and practical tasks. The final stage wasa tour of the company DPD Polska, where students learned about the organization of courier logistics and modern delivery management technologies.
