The Department of Legal Environmental Protection Disciplines was established in March 2018 as a structural unit of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law of the National University of Water Management and Nature Conservation.
The main goal of the department's work is to form a system of knowledge for students in the field of agricultural, land, environmental, and natural resource law, preparing highly qualified scientific and academic staff, as well as participating in the university's research activities.
The focus is on anthropocentric law, as this branch of law unites the legal norms regulating relations in the field of societal exploitation of natural space from the perspective of preserving a living and healthy environment for humans and ensuring ecological safety of human activities.
