Scientific Activity

The Department of Constitutional Law and Sectoral Disciplines of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Humanities at NUVHP is a center for active scientific work that combines fundamental and applied research in the field of law.

The faculty consists of doctors of legal sciences, candidates of legal sciences, and senior lecturers who have considerable experience in scientific and pedagogical activities, combining teaching work with scientific research.

The area of scientific interests covers a wide range of relevant topics:

The department staff are authors of textbooks, monographs, and professional articles published in leading scientific journals in Ukraine and abroad. The research of the faculty is cited in international scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science, which confirms the high level of scientific activity of the department.

The department actively participates in the organization and conduct of scientific and practical conferences, round tables, legal forums, and also promotes student involvement in research activities through scientific clubs and the publication of student articles.

Research work of the department

The faculty performs research work on the topic: "Theoretical and practical problems of ensuring sustainable development of the state and law of Ukraine in the context of Eurointegration processes" (state registration № 0120U105021). As a result of the department's research work, faculty publish articles in domestic and foreign publications, including in professional journals.

Scientific club on the theory of human rights, law and the state

A scientific club on the theory of human rights, law, and state operates at the Department of Constitutional Law and Specialized Disciplines under the leadership of Professor and PhD in Law Inna Volodymyrivna Mishchuk.

The goal of the club is to deepen the study of the theoretical and legal foundations of human rights, state-building processes, and current issues of law application in Ukraine and the world. Club members research modern trends in the field of human rights, discuss scientific innovations, and participate in conferences, round tables, and scientific discussions.

The club acts as an integral part of the department, supporting the development of research skills, critical thinking, and analytical abilities of students, as well as forming important soft skills: the ability to work in a team, effectively present the results of their research, engage in debate, and convincingly defend their position.

Thanks to the work of the club, students have the opportunityto participate in the scientific projects of the department, develop their intellectual potential, and form professional competencies necessary for a modern lawyer.

In 2024-2025, Mishchuk I.V. was recognized as the best leader of the scientific club.
