Main areas of activity:

• practical (students are given the opportunity to acquire and improve practical skills, significantly enhancing the quality of education. They can, for example, participate in organizing exhibitions, excursions, engage in pedagogical activities, and attend various types of classes conducted by practitioner specialists, work with museum collections);
• scientific (expansion of research activities for teachers and students, the opportunity to conduct field studies, work with primary sources, and engage in joint scientific activities);
• methodological (involvement of practitioners in updating curricula, development of methodological materials, conducting master classes, implementation of innovative technologies).

The goal of the historical source studies laboratory is to study and analyze historical sources for the objective reproduction of the past, to form historical memory, and to develop source analysis skills and critical thinking in students, as well as to advance historical research using primary sources.

Tasks:

• research and identification of sources;
• development and improvement of methodologies for working with sources, including their classification, analysis, and critique;
• working with sources for developing research skills in students;
• organizing various types of classes (seminars, master classes, workshops, etc.);
• creating electronic and printed databases;
• cooperation with museums, archives, libraries.
