On April 25-26, large-scale nationwide competitions among war veterans called 'Carpathian Challenge' took place in Uzhhorod. The tournament brought together 195 participants from 21 regions of Ukraine, and the honorable guest of the event was the Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, Natalia Kalmykova.
The true star of the competitions and pride of our institute was student Yevhen Fedosienko from the National Institute of Family and Youth Studies. Demonstrating phenomenal physical preparation and indomitable will, Yevhen made a significant contribution to the Rivne region team by winning three awards in different disciplines.
Achievements of our student:
- gold medal – in rowing on simulators;
- silver medal – in bench press;
- silver medal – in kettlebell snatch.
Becoming a multi-medalist of the tournament, Yevhen Fedosienko once again proved that combining studies at the National Institute of Family and Youth Studies with active sports participation yields high professional results. His example serves as a model of successful rehabilitation and indomitable spirit for the entire student community.
The competitions were held within the framework of the project 'Development of Sports for War Veterans,' which is being implemented in accordance with the National Strategy for Creating an Accessible Environment initiated by the First Lady Olena Zelenska.
The administration of the National Institute of Family and Youth Studies and the entire team sincerely congratulate Yevhen Fedosienko on his incredible performance!
We are proud of our student! We wish him new sports and academic heights!
