On June 20, the All-Ukrainian tournament 'Cup of the Unconquered' in WAKO kickboxing took place for the first time in Rivne, dedicated to the memory of the famous Rivne journalist, public figure, city council deputy, and soldier Oleksandr Kursyk, who gave his life for the freedom of Ukraine.
More than 250 athletes of various age categories, representing 17 leading sports clubs from different regions of the country, came to the city to compete for honorary cups and medals, and most importantly – to honor the memory of the fallen Hero.
The high level of the competition was ensured by representatives of the Institute of Health Care (IHC):

- Iryna Oleksiivna Orel (senior lecturer of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Education of IHC) also served as the chief judge of the competitions, ensuring fair and uncompromising competition.
For his significant contribution to the organization of the tournament and patriotic education of youth, the director of IHC Ihor Mykhailovych Hryhus received special thanks from the chairman of the Rivne WAKO Kickboxing Federation Roman Krol.
