ACHIEVEMENTS OF YOUNG ATHLETES OF NNIОZ AT THE UKRAINIAN CHAMPIONSHIP IN KOZAK FIGHTING
From March 13 to 16, 2026, the Ukrainian Championship in Cossack Duel took place in the city of Rivne (Aivengo Sports Complex), dedicated to the memory of the Heroes who fell in the Russo-Ukrainian War. The event brought together leading athletes of the country and became a platform to demonstrate a high level of physical training and the resilience of the national spirit.
The Educational and Scientific Institute of Health Sciences was proudly represented at the competition by student Oleg Pushkin from group FKС-11. Demonstrating a high level of technical and tactical training as well as willpower, Oleg won the II place in the category 'Wrestling' (weight category up to 75 kg, age group 18-40 years).
This result is an indication of the effectiveness of integrating the educational process with systematic sports training for higher education students specializing in 'Physical Culture and Sports'.
The organizers and participants of the event expressed their immense gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as it is thanks to the heroism and resilience of our defenders that young people have the opportunity to continue their education, engage in sports, and represent their educational institutions in national competitions.
